Co-branding & Partnerships
When representing partnerships with multiple identity marks, the marks must be of equal weight and separated by a single rule.
Our partnerships reflect the collaborative spirit of CMU. Whether a student group is teaming up with a local nonprofit or a lab is working with a global tech leader, clear co-branding helps tell the story of our shared impact. These guidelines provide a consistent framework to celebrate these connections, making it easy for the public to recognize the strength and official nature of our collective work.
Placement

Give equal prominence to both logos.
The distance between the rule and marks must adhere to the clear space determined by the guidelines of the respective mark.

The lead sponsor should be listed first.

If there is no lead sponsor, display the marks in alphabetical order.
Scale

Ensure that the sizes of the two logos are visually balanced and that both logos are visible and legible.
The rule must equal the height of the full logo set.
Separating Rule Color
The separating rule must be Black, Iron Gray, Steel Gray or White.
